Surrounded
by rugged and beautiful Sonoran Desert, this thriving, contemporary
town is a city with an interesting history grown from the rich
cultures of the Native America, Spanish and western pioneer. Known for
its multitude of golf courses, over 120 art galleries, western Old
Town shopping district, and evening entertainment scene, area
attractions include casinos, museums, balloon rides, hiking the
McDowell Mountain foothills, the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park, and
tubing down the Salt River. Rawhide is the state's largest
Western-themed attraction, a recreated 1880's Western town with
authentic entertainment, historic buildings and vendors selling
crafts. The Westworld center is the site of an annual
world-renowned Arabian horse event, as well as other equestrian events
and activities. Scottsdale is also home to the studios of two
prominent architects, Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesen West and Paolo
Soleri's Cosanti Foundation, offering tours of gardens, buildings and
the Cosanti wind bell foundry.

kitchen, shower and French doors to the patio and seasonal pool. The
host couple live in the main house on the same acreage. Handicap
accessible: Doorways will accommodate most size wheelchairs.
The bathroom is built for easy wheelchair access. Guests with chemical
allergies appreciate the tile floors and no
insecticides are used in the suite and rarely used outside.
