near the 115,000
Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge established to preserve the endangered masked
bobwhite quail, a tapestry of grasslands, riparian streams,
cottonwood forest, wetlands and desert Mountains. Home to 280
species of birds including waterfowl and golden eagles, along with other wildlife such as deer, coyote,
mountain lion, javelina, and pronghorn antelope. Bird watching and
wildlife viewing are enjoyed from the many area trails and auto tour
routes.

Sixty-six miles southwest of Tucson, 1 mile north of
the U.S-Mexico border. Capture the gracious living of the Old Southwest at this 1860's
