Four miles south of the plaza and a block from St. Francis of Assisi Church, this 1830's adobe hacienda lies on four acres of pines, fruit trees and pasture on the tranquil outskirts of Taos. Preserved with original architectural elements, it has been transformed into a luxurious hide-away. The 80-foot-long Grand Portal stretches the expanse of the main entry and is an inviting place to sit and talk and enjoy the sunrise or sunset. Across the stream is old stone bridge and views of the ever-changing colors on Taos Mountain. Featured in Frommer's, Fodors and the New York Times it is an ideal setting for weddings, receptions and other gatherings.
