The "high road" from Santa Fe to Taos is one of the most magnificent drives you will experience in New Mexico. The 36-mile mountain ride will lead you to the miraculous Santuario church, the eighth generation weavers, Ortega and Trujillo and the Rancho de Chimayo Restaurant mentioned in every guide book. On six acres, surrounded by mountains, is this serene home in a Spanish colonial adobe style. Close by are Taos, Santa Fe, Native American pueblos, alpine and cross country skiing and many other attractions.

Amenities: All rooms have private bath and robes, and are decorated in American Arts & Crafts style with windows framing a variety of lovely views.
"Wildflower Room" ($80-95) is a small, intimate adobe room with vigas and traditional earthen floor, one double bed. "Heart of the House" ($115-130) has old-fashioned wood stove, sitting area, vigas, earthen floors, one double, one single bed. Can adjoin Sun Room to create a suite. "Sun Room" ($125-140) is a large room with private patio, vigas, brick floors, one double bed, space for two extra guests. "Vista Room" ($125-140) is upstairs, has large deck overlooking the badlands of Chimayo. Oversized tub, queen bed, single bed. "Kiva Room" ($125-140) is a romantic hideaway upstairs with queen bed, kiva fireplace, oversized tub. "Uno y Dos Twin Rooms" ($90-100) are two rooms, each has a double bed, tongue and groove ceilings and private baths with shower. "Casita Escondida" ($145-165) detached one bedroom adobe house with kiva fireplace, saltillo tile floors, vigas. Living area includes full kitchenette.

Rates: Double occupancy. Add $18 for each additional person. If there are more than 2 guests in the room, children 12 years of age or older are charged at $18/night extra. Children under 12 years of age are an additional $10/night.
Breakfast: Full, served 8 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
Restrictions: Children welcome, smoking in limited areas outside only. Pets accepted in select rooms when arranged in advance at a fee of $15/pet/night.

Deposit and Cancellation Policies: Pre-payment in full for one night's stay, or of 50% of the total for stays of 2 nights or more required at time of reservation. The balance is due to the host in cash or travelers checks upon arrival (or by credit card if host accepts them). At the time the reservation is confirmed, we charge a service fee of $10 for bookings.
Mi Casa Su Casa accepts personal and business checks, and major credit cards. Reservations may be held with a credit card number, pending receipt of a check, if this method of deposit is preferred.
For a refund of deposit, cancellation notice must be received 14 or more days prior to arrival date. All cancellations are subject to a $25 service charge. For stays during high season, holidays or special events, or for stays of a week or more, cancellation must be received 30 days prior to arrival date.
