In the cool mountain pines of New Mexico, this inn sits on two wooded acres just three miles from the Ruidoso Village limits. It's a little quieter and a littler cooler. It is minutes away from Spencer Theater for the Performing Arts, historic Lincoln and Capitan, the ski and recreation area, Bonito Lake and countless hiking and horseback riding trails in the Lincoln National Forest and the White Mountain Wilderness Area. With a blend of Mexican and Southwestern décor, it has three rooms and two guest houses to choose from, as well as a Lodge with six additional guest rooms. Location: On Hwy. 48 near Airport Road
Amenities: All rooms have TV/VCR, clock radio and private bath. The Southwestern Room (D/$95, holidays $105 + $15 for single night stay) on the first floor offers queen bed, bath with antique claw foot tub with shower attachment, southwestern furniture, Mexican artifacts and antiques. It shares a living room with TV/VCR and wood burning stove with the Western Room.
The rustic Western Room (D/$95, holidays $105 + $15 for single night stay) has a queen bed, bath with antique claw foot tub with shower attachment, and authentic western artifacts.
The Siesta Suite (D/$125, holidays $140 + $15 for single night stay) runs the entire length of the upper floor and features private entrance, king bed, bath with shower and private hot tub.
The very private 800-square-foot Casita in the Trees ($125 for 4 guests, holidays $140 + $15 for single night stay) at the rear of the property has a front patio and back deck. There is a bedroom with Queen bed, bath with tub and shower, generous living room, phone, dining room and fully equipped kitchen.
The 1,600-square-foot Guest House ($195 for 6 guests, holidays $225 + $15 for single night stay) is ideal for families with three bedrooms (1 with king bed, the others with queen beds) and two baths. It has a fireplace, phone, TV/VCR in each room, living room with queen sofa-bed, fully equipped and stocked kitchen, 40-foot shaded deck in the back and 60-foot covered porch in front.
The six-room Lodge (D/$95, holidays $105 + $15 for single night stay) offers a large adobe fireplace in the common area, phones, full kitchen and a private deck for each room.
Host interests: Skiing, cooking, running, home repair, travel
Rates: $95-$225 plus tax. Add $10/additional person in room. Seasonal, long-term and group rates negotiable.
Breakfast: Full breakfast is served around 8:30 a.m., except during ski season (late Nov. through Mar.) when breakfast is served earlier (around 7:30 a.m.)
Restrictions: Smoking outdoors only, no pets. Children welcome, babies with advance arrangement.
Pets in home: None
Minimum stay: Some holidays may require a multiple-night reservation.
Maximum number of guests: 30
Deposits: A credit card number with expiration date is required at the time of reservation to guarantee the room(s). Full payment is due on arrival by personal check, cash or credit card.
Cancellations: If cancellation occurs within 2 weeks prior to arrival date, a
$25 service charge will be incurred and billed automatically to the credit card given to hold the reservation. If cancellation occurs within 48 hours of arrival date, guests will be responsible for full charges for the entire reservation, unless we are able to rebook the room(s).

Check-out: 12 noon or as otherwise arranged
Meeting facilities: Weddings and group events can be accommodated, and the hosts will gladly recommend catering services for meals other than breakfast.
