This old Territorial adobe is nestled in the historic North Valley. A great deal of time, effort and love has gone into making this B&B unique and comfortable while remaining true to the land and the spirits that dwell there. The great room has a massive sculptured adobe fireplace, comfortable lounges, a library and many interesting artifacts. 52" TV is perfect for sports or movie fans. Relax under the courtyard portal and listen to the waterfall tumble into the lily pond and end your day in the hot tub under the stars. The newly restored "El Rancho" across the road is a spacious old adobe ranch house, turned into a smaller version of the main Hacienda. It has two suites and one double room as well as a common area, eat-in kitchen with wood burning stove. Each accommodation has a private entrance, private bath and portal area. As always, guests enjoy free run of both houses and all the grounds. Tennis, golf, shopping, fishing, and stables are just minutes away.

Amenities: "Cuarto Allegre" ($130.90-$141.90) Largest suite, furnished in the style of Old Spain. King sized canopy bed, also day bed perfect for enjoying the fire. Bathroom features massive wooden beams, an antique wardrobe and hand made tiles from Old Mexico. French doors open onto small portal and private garden entrance.
"Cuarto Del Rey" ($108.90-119.90) Faces main courtyard with lovely view of the mountains at sunrise. Both queen and day beds face the adobe fireplace accented with very old hand crafted tiles from Spain. Features furnishings from Mexico and handmade quilts. Spacious, colorful private bath with tub and shower is one door down the hall.
"Cuarto De Flores" ($119.90-$130.90) Both queen and day beds done with handmade quilts face the kiva and offer a peaceful respite. Attached bath has a tub with shower and large dressing area with lots of wood and Mexican tile. French doors open into intimate portal.
"Cuarto Grande" ($141.90-$163.90) Suite with hand-hewn king canopy bed of willow. Kiva fireplace and willow armchairs provide cozy, comfortable reading area. Through wide hand painted archway is adjoining room with two twin beds. Dressing area with separate water closet and huge walk-in, tiled shower with double heads. Perfect for those traveling with family or friends.
"Cuarto De Las Rosas" ($152.90-$174.90) Garlands of vines and roses adorn king willow canopy bed. Fireplace bricks are painted with rose design and lounge is perfect for chatting or for quiet. Through the archway is another large room with two day- beds, separate water closet and dressing area. Walk-in shower has double heads and tiled bench. French doors open to private portal with breathtaking view of the mountains.
"Cuarto De Milagro" ($108.90-$119.90) Queen canopy bed with hand embroidered quilt. Painted on adobe walls and fireplace are healing herbs indigenous to this enchanted land. Private, all-tiled bath is just across the hall. French doors lead to quiet portal and garden.
"El Patron" ($119.90-$141.90) Facing the Sandia mountains with a covered portal, this suite is ideal for a small family. Western mural, cowboy and Indian artifacts, and hand-made queen poster bed set the mood of an old time ranch setting. Small sitting area has bent willow chairs, twin bed, walk-in closet and adjoining bath with tub/shower.
Host interests: "Butch" loves to spin tales of legend and lore of the Old West handed down through the generations of his pioneer family.
Rates: Double occupancy, plus tax. Add $20 per additional person. Weekly rates available.
Breakfast: Very informal, offer a blend on Continental entrees and hearty New Mexican specialties.
