Guests are treated to affordable luxury at this busy, exceptional B&B, which has spacious rooms and many amenities. Only 58 miles from the Grand Canyon and near seasonal skiing, many guests choose to stay in this small town where restaurants, quaint shops and galleries, golf, fishing, ghost towns, Indian ruins and Sedona are a short drive away. Built in 1988, this 3-story 5,000 square foot home and separate guesthouse built in 1998 are on two secluded acres in the pines within walking distance of historic downtown. The building has a "ski lodge look" with multiple decks, and is surrounded by one of the largest remaining stands of ponderosa forest with hiking just outside the door.
Location: Near Second Street, on Sheridan Avenue
Amenities: All rooms have lovely views, cable TV with HBO, VCR and a CD equipped stereo system.
Main House: First Level; "Oakwood" ($175) has a private entrance and patio, king bed, seating area, and bath with shower.
Second (Entry) Level; "Rosewood" ($220) has a romantic wood burning fireplace, king bed, extra large shower, soaking tub and small refrigerator.
Third Level; "Aspen" ($180) has a king bed, marble bath with tub/shower. "Cottonwood" ($170) has two double beds, marble bath with tub/shower.
Two-story Guesthouse: All units have elegant private bathrooms featuring marble and tile.
First Floor; "Juniper Family Suite" ($200) has a queen bed in one bedroom, and two twins in the other room. "Sycamore" ($190) has wide bay windows, king bed, seating area, small refrigerator and coffee maker.
Second Floor; Two-room "Willow Family Suite ($200) has a queen bed in one room and bunk-style bed (full size below, twin size above) in the other, coffee maker and small refrigerator. "Cedar" ($200) has wide bay windows, king bed, small refrigerator and coffee maker.
The inside dining room has a fireplace, or there is dining on the deck. Guests are invited to use the inn library of videotapes, CDs and a wide selection of literature. The fitness room has various exercise equipment for guests' use and there is an entertainment room with a pool table and piano. The flagstone patio has a hot tub. Included in the rates are happy hour at 5:30, and a casual buffet dinner served at 6:30.
Host interests: Family, hosting, cooking, the arts and nature.
Rates: $170-$220 plus tax. Extra person $15 each.
Breakfast: Generous gourmet served in the dining room or on the upper deck. Happy hour and casual buffet dinner included in rates.
Pets in home: None
Restrictions: Smoking outside. Well-behaved children welcome, highchair and portable crib available. Well-behaved guest dog allowed in Oakwood Room (must not be left unattended).

Deposit and Cancellation Policies: Pre-payment in full for one night's stay, or of 50% of the total for stays of 2 nights or more required at time of reservation. The balance is due to the host in cash or travelers checks upon arrival (or by credit card if host accepts them). At the time the reservation is confirmed, we charge a service fee of $10 for bookings.
Mi Casa Su Casa accepts personal and business checks, and major credit cards. Reservations may be held with a credit card number, pending receipt of a check, if this method of deposit is preferred.
For a refund of deposit, cancellation notice must be received 14 or more days prior to arrival date. All cancellations are subject to a $25 service charge. For stays during high season, holidays or special events, or for stays of a week or more, cancellation must be received 30 days prior to arrival date.
