This is a working
miniature-horse operation with 35 miniature horses, Nigerian dwarf goats, mini burros and
flocks of multi-colored bantam chickens. It is minutes away from the Sonora Desert Museum,
Saguaro National Park West, Old Tucson, Avra Valley Airport and Skydiving Center, world
famous Little Abner's Steak House. Fabulous for walkers.
Location: 20 miles west of I-10, Ina Road exit
Amenities: Two guest rooms with large closets share a full hall bath. One room has
a queen bed and an eastern view of the desert garden and trees. The other room has a queen
size sofa-bed, private entrance, a northern view of the corrals and horses, and serves as
a sitting room when not in use. Only one party accepted at a time. Shared cable TV, coffee
machine, fax, and phone available. Relax under the many shade trees or on the sun deck.
Kitchen and laundry privileges are extended. Guests are welcome to enjoy viewing the
animals. Ranch tours and cookouts available.
Host interests: Writing, flying airplanes, showing horses, Society of Southwestern
Authors
Rates: $77/day double occupancy, $10 for each additional guest. Seventh night free.
Breakfast: Continental for short stays of 3-4 days, then self-catering
Maximum number of guests: Maximum 4 adults recommended, 6 guests possible
Minimum stay: 2 nights
Restrictions: No smoking, no pets. Children negotiable.
Foreign language: Spanish spoken
Deposit and Cancellation Policies: Pre-payment of 50% of the total
required at time of reservation. The balance is due to the host in cash or travelers checks upon arrival. At the time the reservation is confirmed, we charge a service fee of $10 for bookings.
Mi Casa Su Casa accepts personal and business checks, and major credit cards. Reservations may be held with a credit card number, pending receipt of a check, if this method of deposit is preferred.
For a refund of deposit, cancellation notice must be received 14 or more days prior to arrival date. All cancellations are subject to a $25 service charge. For stays during high season, holidays or special events, or for stays of a week or more, cancellation must be received 30 days prior to arrival date.
