a scenic residential area, this 800-square-foot stucco guest cottage
is attached to the main house, but is totally separate. It has a
private entrance, two bedrooms, exceptional mountain views and is in a
great area for walking and birding.
Built
in 1996 on more than an acre, it is the last lot on a dead end road,
so there is no traffic. Romantic, quiet and secluded, it is close to
Sabino Canyon, Bear Canyon, Mt. Lemmon, Reddington Pass, and Tanque
Verde Falls. Riding stables and a shopping center are less than a mile
away, tennis and swimming under 3 miles. Approximately 14 miles from
the airport, 12 miles from I-10 and 9 miles from the University of
Arizona.

Amenities:
Central AC and heating plus ceiling fans. There are tiled floors
throughout and a spacious living room with leather furniture has a
wood-burning fireplace, satellite 52" flat screen TV, surround
sound, Wi-Fi, and Blu-ray DVD. One bedroom has a king bed and a
closet, the other bedroom has a full size bed and armoire. The hall
bathroom has a Mexican tile shower. The fully furnished kitchen has a
stove with oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, garbage disposal
and coffee maker. There is a private phone with answering machine for
free local calls - use your credit or calling card for long distance.
There
is a covered porch with a gas outdoor barbecue and a separate room for
the full size washer and dryer, which is exclusive for guest use. The
laundry room is supplied with an iron, ironing board and all cleaning
and washing supplies, broom and vacuum cleaner. Furnishings include
all bed linens, blankets, pillows, towels, dishes, cooking utensils,
as well as incidentals such as laundry soap, bleach, plastic wrap,
foil, toilet paper, paper towels, bath soap and shampoo, etc.
There
is a swimming pool for seasonal swimming and a spa. The Udall Center,
with a large outdoor heated pool and a minimal charge, is five minutes
away. Garage parking.

interests: Host is in
real estate, is a builder and artist.
Rates:
$125/night, $750/week, $1,795/month. Add $10/night for each extra
person. Low season (Apr. 1-Oct. 1) rates negotiable.
Breakfast:
A self-catered continental-plus breakfast is provided for short-term
stays. A "starter breakfast" is provided for long-term
stays.
Minimum
stay: 3 nights
Restrictions:
No smoking, no pets, children 12+ welcome.
Deposit
and Cancellation Policies: Pre-payment
of 50% of the total required at time of reservation. The balance is
due to the host in cash or travelers checks upon arrival.

credit card number, pending receipt of a check, if this method of
deposit is preferred.
For
a refund of deposit, cancellation notice must be received 30 or more
