This
stunning passive solar rammed earth and adobe home rests in a country
setting, offering panoramic views of the western side of the Catalina
Mountains and gorgeous sunsets. On a 2-acre lot in a quiet desert
setting with abundant wildlife, it is a great destination for bird
watchers. The décor is a tasteful blend of antiques, Native American
artifacts and Mexican tile work. Area attractions include Sabino
Canyon, Biosphere, San Xavier Mission, Pima Air Museum, and the Desert
Museum. Hiking trails and horseback riding is available at nearby
Catalina State Park. Also nearby is the Sheraton El Conquistador
resort and country club.

Amenities: The "Northern Quail Room" ($65) has a
queen antique bed, dresser and shared bath with shower and tub. The
"Mountain Quail Room" ($65) offers a king or two twin beds,
down comforter, and shares a bath with the Northern Quail Room.
The "Quail’s Nest Master Suite" ($85) has a queen bed,
private entrance, private bath with jacuzzi/tub/shower, TV/VCR,
telephone, and microwave. The sliding door to the private patio offers
views of the Catalina Mountains.
Amenities include use of the laundry facility, outdoor swim-stream hot
tub, and great room with WiFi, TV/VCR, CD. Light snacks can be kept in
the home kitchen.

Deposit and Cancellation Policies: Pre-payment in full for one
night's stay, or of 50% of the total for stays of 2 nights or more
required at time of reservation. The balance is due to the host in
cash or travelers checks upon arrival.

cards. Reservations may be held with a credit card number, pending
receipt of a check, if this method of deposit is preferred.
For a refund of deposit, cancellation notice must be received 14 or
more days prior to arrival date. All cancellations are subject to a
$25 service charge. For stays during high season, holidays or special
events, or for stays of a week or more, cancellation must be received
30 days prior to arrival date.
