La
Paz is noted for its spacious, private accommodation, family travel,
business travel, honeymoons, and economical seasonal rates. La Paz
means "the peace" and that is what you will find in this
home B&B. Your hostess will do the utmost to make your stay
pleasant and comfortable.
It is ideally located in a quiet residential neighborhood in North
Scottsdale within 20 minutes of Sky Harbor Airport, 15 minutes to Old
Scottsdale and within two miles of the Kierland Common Plaza offering
fine dining, shopping and entertainment. La Paz is located a short
distance from theaters, malls, museums, historical sights, Frank Lloyd
Wright-Taliesin West, golf courses, hiking, ballooning and horseback
riding.
Location: Near Thunderbird and 64th Street
Amenities: The extra-large suite, the "Arizona
Suite," has wireless internet access. The newly
refurbished Suite is a spacious three-room apartment with a tile floor
and is decorated with a Southwestern motif. It is attached to the main
house but is completely separate as it has a private entrance as well
as a private exit to the back yard with the pool, hot tub and patio
area.
The large bedroom has a king-size bed and a twin-size sleep sofa chair.
In the living room, there is a comfortable queen-size sofa bed and an
entertainment center with cable TV/VCR/DVD. A private bath in the
Suite hall has a large walk-in shower which is fully stocked with all
the necessities.
The pool is open April through October (unless you’re very
brave). The hot tub is open from October through April.

Rates
are quoted for two persons. $10 extra per person. Children under 8
stay free. Longer stays negotiable. Rates subject to change.
Hostess
interests: Hosting,
cooking, reading, gardening, art, music.
Breakfast: A breakfast and fruit basket as well as breakfast
items are placed in the refrigerator for self-preparing breakfast.
Pets
in home: A friendly
Labrador dog, Gracie.
Maximum number of guests: 5, plus infant in porta-crib. Porta-crib
is free.
Minimum stay: 1 night except Holiday weekends. 2 nights
preferred.
Restrictions:
Non-smoking facility. Smokers may smoke outside on the patio. Infants
and children welcome but must be attended and supervised at all times
in home and around pool area
Pet dog possible. Please call in advance.
Deposit Policy: Pre-payment in full for one night's stay, or
50% of the total for stays of 2 nights or more required at time of
reservation. Mi Casa Su Casa accepts personal and business checks, and
Visa, MasterCard. Reservations may be held with a credit card number,
pending receipt of a check, if this method of deposit is preferred.
The balance is due to the host upon arrival with Visa, American
Express, MasterCard credit cards, cash or travelers checks.
Cancellation Policy: 21 days advance notice required. Prior to
21 days, full refund less $20 administration fee. Within 21 days,
deposit is non-refundable unless the room is rebooked. Cancellations
within 48 hours and no shows will be charged the full reservation
amount and will be refunded when the room is rebooked. Refunds are
prorated on the days the room is rebooked.
Check in: 3-6 p.m. or as otherwise arranged. Without
notification, you might not have access to B&B.
