A
host couple is looking forward to welcoming you to their new B&B
in the quiet Phoenix community known as Ahwatukee. They offer an
extra-large room which overlooks South Mountain and a second guest
room. The Southwestern décor in the home includes kachinas and other
Native American artifacts, as well as art by local artists.

The house is one and a half blocks from the entrance to South Mountain
Park, which is the largest municipal park in the U.S. with 56 miles of
hiking trails. There are many petroglyphs on the trails dating back to
900 AD.

Eagle Dancer B&B is the place to stay if you are a serious
shopper, as it is in the heart of a shoppers paradise. The 90 Outlet
Stores at the new "Phoenix Premium Outlets", are 5 miles
away in Chandler. IKEA and Arizona Mills are both 2 miles away in
Tempe.
Location:
Near 48th Street and Elliot Road. 15 minutes from Sky Harbor
International Airport, 20 minutes from Scottsdale, 20 minutes from
central Phoenix and a short distance from a major highway (I-10),
Arizona State University Tempe campus, Intel, Honeywell, IKEA and two
malls.
Amenities:
A curving stairway takes you to the two rooms on the second floor
where a long hallway with French doors separates the guest area from
the host suite, so guests have total privacy. They only accept one
party at a time.

The extra-large room/suite, Room #1, has a queen bed, sitting area,
computer desk, Wi-Fi, TV and a landline phone in the room for local
calls. The private hall bath has two sinks, tub/shower, hair dryer and
toiletry amenities. A small refrigerator is stocked with ice and
bottled water and there is a Keurig coffee maker with mugs.

Room #2 is for third and fourth members of the same party. It has a
king bed or twin beds, chest of drawers, closet and shares the hall
bath with Room #1.

Light laundry and kitchen privileges are available to guests at no
additional charge. In the laundry, there is scent free detergent and
fabric softener.

The host couple can help you put "Day Trips" together and
would be happy to make dinner reservations for you, too.

You are welcome to share their library during your stay and use the
living room for reading. The seasonal swimming pool is available April
through October.

The winter holidays are special here. They decorate inside and outside
and from December 16 - January 9, when they light Luminarias (brown
paper bags with sand and votive candles) in both the front and back
yards, and offer hot apple cider and cookies in the late afternoon.
Host
interests: family, friends, gardening, music, cooking, jewelry
designing and meeting people.
Rates:
Nov. 15-May 1: Room 1 S/$135-Dbl/$145. Room 2 is for guests in same
party S/$100-Dbl/$110. May 1-Nov. 14: Room 1 S/$125-Dbl/$135. Room 2
S/$100-Dbl/$110. Longer stays are negotiable. No additional taxes or
fees.
Breakfast:
A variety of breakfasts are offered catering to your dietary
desires, from fresh fruit, steel-cut oatmeal, homemade blueberry
orange muffins to gourmet Monterey Jack Cheese Ham and Asparagus
Soufflé to Eggs Benedict with Hollandaise Sauce. Special dietary
requirements can be accommodated with advance notice. Breakfast is
served in the dining room, outside dining patio or by the herb garden.
Please
no eating in the Suite.
If you have leftovers from a restaurant, you are welcome to use the
dining room or kitchen.
Pets
in home: 12 year Persian cat, "Reggie" is a big scaredy
cat. He will be in our personal quarters while you are here.

Restrictions:
Smoking is allowed outside on the patio; no smoking in the house.
Children welcome over 16. No pets.
Deposit:
Pre-payment of one night or of fifty percent on stays of three
days or longer is required at the time of reservation.
Cancellations:
For a refund of deposit, cancellation notice must be received 14
or more days prior to arrival date. All cancellations are subject to a
$25 service charge. For stays during high season or special events, or
for stays of a week or more, cancellation must be made 30 days prior
to the date of arrival.

4-6 p.m. unless special arrangements are made with host

11 a.m. or as arranged with the host.
