on 22 acres in a quiet country setting adjacent to the Patagonia
Nature Conservancy, this property was once a small sheep ranch named
Bird Land Ranch. Wildlife and a variety of birds are drawn to the cool
shade and seasonal creek on the property. In the midst of ancient pine
trees, the cottage is serene and remote, and yet within easy walking
distance of town. At 4,000 feet in elevation, the town is surrounded
by the Coronado National Forest and boasts a mild climate, spectacular
birding, and endless hiking and mountain biking trails. Patagonia Lake
is 8 miles away with fishing boating and water skiing, and it is 12
miles to the Sonoita Elgin Wine Country.

Amenities:
There are two cottages. One is "Cross Creek Cottage" and the
second one, the 500 square foot three-room "Butterfly
Cottage" is next door and was built in 2006. There is a large,
inviting front porch where guests can relax. The front door has a
hand-painted floral design painted by the artist-owner around the
border of the door. There is a sitting room with a twin bed, easy
chairs and a writing table. The large room is divided and has a queen
bed; the other half has the kitchen. The full kitchen has a small
stove with burners and oven, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker,
refrigerator, and there are electric heaters and a wood stove for cozy
fires on cool evenings. There is a large bath with tub/ shower. There
are a few antiques.

Rates:
$110/night double occupancy, add $20/night for each additional guest.
$660/week. $2,250/month. Weekly and monthly rates include housekeeping
once a week. Plus tax.

Refrigerator is stocked with continental breakfast for the first
morning, then breakfast is self-catering.

Deposit
and Cancellation Policies: Pre-payment
in full for one night's stay, or of 50% of the total for stays of 2
nights or more required at time of reservation. The balance is due to
the host in cash or travelers checks upon arrival. At the time the
reservation is confirmed, we charge a service fee of $10 for bookings.
Mi
Casa Su Casa accepts personal and business checks, and major credit
cards. Reservations may be held with a credit card number, pending
receipt of a check, if this method of deposit is preferred.
For
a refund of deposit, cancellation notice must be received 14 or more
days prior to arrival date. All cancellations are subject to a $25
service charge. For stays during high season, holidays or special
events, or for stays of a week or more, cancellation must be received
30 days prior to arrival date.
