Cherry was once an old mining community and stage stop between Fort Whipple in
Prescott and Fort Verde in Camp Verde. It is a quiet peaceful oasis surrounded by Prescott
National Forest. To get to this charming out of the way B&B you will travel on the
same dirt road wagons and stage coaches used in the early 1900's. Cherry has an elevation
of 5,200 feet with mild four-season climate suitable for bird and wildlife watching,
hiking, mountain biking, photography or just sitting on the porch swing with a good book.
You could also plan day trips to Sedona, Prescott, Jerome and Montezuma's Castle.
Location: Near Cherry Road and Hwy. 169
Amenities: Guests stay in their own two- person, private cottage with a comfortable
firm queen size bed, private shower bath, efficiency kitchenette, antique sitting area,
VCR stocked with 20 videos, FM/CD/cassette player, heater and evaporative cooler.
Emergency phone use only.
Host interests: Family, hosting guests, local history
Rates: $100, $80 without breakfast.
Breakfast: Hearty, home-cooked, and served at your convenience. Guests can request
a pot of soup/chili and corn bread upon arrival for an extra $10. The closest restaurants
are about 15 miles away.
Pets in home: A cat and a big, old yellow Lab, both sleep inside when there are
guests.
Maximum number of guests: 2
Minimum stay: 2 nights preferred.
Restrictions: No children or pets, smoking outside only.
Deposit: 50% in advance required on all reservations. Deposit must be received
within 7 days of booking to guarantee reservation.
Cancellation Policies: In the event of cancellation, deposit will be returned (less
15% of the total stay) if notification is received 10 or more days prior to arrival. Less
than 10 days, no refund will be given. The regular rate will be charged if the guest
arrives after or departs before the dated of their guaranteed reservation.
