This B&B was
built in 1996 on 20 acres in a secluded country setting in high chaparral surrounded by
forest service land. On the property are many rose bushes to admire and an award-winning
boutique winery dedicated to the production of fine varietal wines. There is wine tasting
and sales, a deli shop, and a specialty gift shop with premium gourmet foods, over 60
garlic related products, and items from around the world. The Bradshaw Mountains where
people still search for gold are 60 miles away and are clearly visible from the deck. It
is in an historic area eleven miles from Fort Verde, a military post in Territorial days.
It is also an easy drive to Prescott, Arizona's first capital, (25 miles), Jerome, a
former copper mining camp (25 miles) and beautiful Sedona (45 minutes), with its red rock
formations.
Location: South East corner of Cherry Road and I-17, mid-way between Flagstaff and
Phoenix.
Amenities: AC. The large open guest room, "The Princess Room", is
attached but separate from the main house. It has a private entrance, king bed, a double
whirlpool tub with shower, double sofa-bed. There is a ceiling fan, hard wood floors, cove
radiant heating and a wood burning stove. Refreshments. A highly regarded registered
masseuse is available at a charge of $100 for both guests.
Host interests: Wines, gourmet food, travel, marketing
Rates: $125/night with a 2-night minimum. Add $25 for a
one-night stay. Weekly rate available.
Breakfast: Full
Dinner: Gourmet possible with prior arrangement at an additional charge.
Events: Catered weddings and other events possible with a choice of a light buffet
or an elaborate dinner.
Pets in home: Family dogs, no pets in guest area
Maximum number of guests: 4
Minimum stay: Two nights
Restrictions: No smoking, no pets, no children
Deposit and Cancellation Policies: Pre-payment in full for one night's stay, or of 50% of the total for stays of 2 nights or more required at time of reservation. The balance is due to the host in cash or travelers checks upon arrival. At the time the reservation is confirmed, we charge a service fee of $10 for bookings.
Mi Casa Su Casa accepts personal and business checks, and major
credit cards. Reservations may be held with a credit card number, pending receipt of a check, if this method of deposit is preferred.
For a refund of deposit, cancellation notice must be received 14 or more days prior to arrival date. All cancellations are subject to a $25 service charge. For stays during high season, holidays or special events, or for stays of a week or more, cancellation must be received 30 days prior to arrival date.
