Designated by Tucson Lifestyle magazine as "one of the most romantic getaways in Arizona", this property was acquired from Mexico in 1853 and has a rich and fascinating history as a place of lodging. Constructed as a miner's hotel in 1916 after the original buildings were destroyed by fire, it underwent a Certified Historic Restoration in 1982, and was again renovated by the current owners in 1996. Period carpeting and antique furniture complement walls decorated with old maps, photos and pictures reflecting the hotel's early days.
Location: On OK Street near Naco Road
Amenities: In the main inn, 20 rooms with shower bath (4 are shared), have period carpeting, antique furniture to compliment the original oak dressers, and old maps and photos reflecting the inn's early days. One room has twin beds ($80), 1 has a double and a twin ($85), 1 has 2 doubles ($85), 2 have king ($85), 4 have queen ($80), and the remainder have a double bed with private bath ($75) or double with shared bath ($60).
For business and family groups, 3 fully furnished suites are available nestled behind the inn in a new addition, a 1905 brick building with a private garden area, antiques and hand-sewn quilts combined with TV/VCR, private telephone, and fax/modem hookups. Charming, stylish, comfortable, and convenient, each has private bath, fully equipped kitchen, and living room. The 1 bedroom suite ($120) has a queen bed, a queen sofa-bed, and shower bath. Two 2 bedroom suites ($145 and $165) each have a king and a queen bed, a queen sofa-bed, and full bath.
Rates: Rates are for single or double occupancy - add $5 for each additional guest. Plus tax. Senior, student, government, multi-night (three or more) or other discounts may be available (except weekends or holidays).

Restrictions: Well-behaved children and pets welcome - must be accompanied by an adult at all times. There is no charge for children under two, but a pet deposit is required. Smoking outdoors only.
Deposit: Reservations are held with a credit card. $40 deposit per pet returned upon departure if accommodations are left in the condition found.
Cancellations: Cancellation must be received 24 hours prior to arrival (be 3 p.m. the previous day) to avoid being charged for one night (basic rate). For stays during high season or special events, or for stays of a week or more, or for parties booking 2 or more rooms, there may be special deposit and cancellation policies. All
cancellations are subject to a $25 service fee.
